This is my story...
Hi, I'm Darla Trendler, mom to four kids ages 13-20. Long before my kids were born, I knew I wanted my future children to be spiritually strong.
With a house full of little kids, my husband and I started teaching them the gospel. We had a checklist of things to do.
Family home evening
Weekly church attendance
Scripture study
Obedience
We even taught the standards in the For the Strength of Youth Pamphlet before they ever entered elementary school!
We had it all figured out.

It's natural to want to protect your teen from failures and challenges. But, as you will learn in the course, you can allow your teen to make their own choices and be on their own path. Your worth as a mom isn't attached to your teen's choices. There aren't a lot of guarantees in motherhood but you'll learn in the course there is one thing you can count on--your child is going to sin (and so are you).
